I’ve been training for my upcoming half-marathon since June. I’ve always been a lover of healthy food, but I’ve definitely been enjoying healthy snacks that help keep me fueled throughout the course of my training regimen. I decided to put a post together that highlights all of the healthy snack options that I have been enjoying! From bubbly water to yummy fruit, these are my current favorites 🙂
#1: RXBAR Nut Butter: My favorite flavor of these is the Honey Almond Peanut Butter. I have been putting these on everything from apples to toast!
#2: Power Crunch Protein Bars: I am a vegetarian, so I welcome any protein bar into my life that tastes yummy!! These literally taste like a candy bar. I have at least one a day.
#3: Banza Chickpea Pasta: I use this pasta for more of a meal as opposed to a snack, but it is beyond yummy. Since it is made out of chickpeas, there is significantly more protein in each serving than normal pasta. There is also less carbs, which is always a plus! 🙂
#4: Cotton Candy Grapes: My husband and I are currently obsessed with these! They literally taste like you are eating cotton candy. We purchase ours from Trader Joes, but I have also seem them at other food retailers like Whole Foods.
#5: Sargento Balanced Breaks: Whenever we have these in the house, I usually have one about mid-morning before lunch. They are perfectly proportioned, and I love all of the different options they have.
#6: Bubly Sparkling Water: We drink a lot of sparking water, but this is our favorite brand. This brand definitely is the most flavorful out of all of the types we have tried. This definitely quenches any soda craving. My favorite flavor is the Strawberry.
